How To Purchase Standard H07V-K and H07V-R Wires?

Tips for purchasing  Standard H07V-K and H07V-R wires

1. Depends on the appearance of the cable

Check whether there is a quality system certification, whether the certificate is standardized, whether there is the factory name, factory address, inspection seal, production date, whether there is a trademark, specification, voltage, etc. printed on the wire. It also depends on the material of the copper core of the wire. Generally,  standard iec 60227 standard cables use copper core.

2. Test the flexibility of the  cable
You can take a iec 60227 cable head and bend it repeatedly by hand. If H07V-K1.25mm cable or H07v-R 1.25mm cable feels soft to the touch, has good fatigue resistance, the plastic or rubber feels elastic, and there are no cracks on the wire insulator.

3. Weigh the cable
Standard cables are generally within the specified weight range. Poor quality wires have insufficient weight, are either not long enough, or have too many impurities in the copper core of the wire.

4. Look at the copper quality of the cable
The copper core of the  standard cable should be fuchsia, shiny and soft to the touch. The copper core of cables with poor quality is purple-black, yellowish or white, with many impurities and poor mechanical strength, and there are often disconnections in the wires. When checking, you only need to peel off 2 cm from one end of the wire, and then rub the copper core with a piece of white paper. If there is black substance on the white paper, it means there are more impurities in the copper core. Also, the insulation layer of poor-quality wires may seem thick, but in fact most of them are made of recycled plastic. Over time, the insulation layer will age and leak electricity.
