Nylon 6 (PA6)

Polyamide 6 or Nylon 6, referred to as PA6 or Nylon6, also known as Polyamide6, namely polycaprolactam, obtained from caprolactam ring-opening polycondensation, molecular structure formula:

 

It is a translucent or opaque opalescent resin with excellent mechanical properties, stiffness, toughness, wear resistance and mechanical shock absorption, good insulation and chemical resistance.  Widely used in automobile parts, electrical and electronic parts and other fields.

Nylon 66 (PA66)

Polyamide 66 or Nylon 66, short for PA66 or nylon 66, also known as Polyamide 66, also known as polyhexamethylene diamine.  Molecular structure formula:  

 

Used for manufacturing mechanical, automotive, chemical and electrical equipment parts, such as gear, roller, pulley, roller shaft, impeller in pump body, fan blade, high pressure seal enclosure, valve seat, gasket, bushing, various handles, support frame, wire package inner layer, etc.

Nylon11 (PA11) 

Polyamide11 or Nylon11, referred to as PA11 or Nylon11, also known as Polyamide11, namely poly eleven lactam.  Molecular structure formula is:

White translucent body.  Its outstanding characteristics are low melting temperature and processing temperature wide, low water absorption, low temperature performance is good, can be maintained in -40℃ ~ 120℃ of good flexibility.  Mainly used for automobile oil pipeline, brake system hose, fiber optic cable coating, packaging film, daily necessities, etc.

 

Nylon12 (PA12)

Polyamide12 or Nylon12, referred to as PA12, also known as Polyamide12, namely polydodecamide.The molecularformula  [(CH2)11CONH]n

Nylon 12 could be the common used materials in some way.It is similar to nylon 11, but its density, melting point and water absorption ratio is lower than nylon 11.  Because it contains a large amount of toughening agent, it has the properties of combining polyamide and polyolefin.  Its outstanding characteristics are high decomposition temperature, low water absorption, excellent low temperature resistance.  Mainly used in automobile oil pipeline, instrument panel, accelerator pedal, brake hose, electronic and electrical muffler parts, cable sheath.Especially on cable industries,it is very popular.THHN is the representative of Nylon 12 used in cable.Nylon 12 jacket help THHN cable avoid the oil and water and acid.That make the THHN cable is more and more popular.Such as American,Australia, they like to purchase THHN cable from china factory according to relative custom data.
