Greek energy group Hellenic Petroleum (ELPE.AT) has reached an agreement with renewable energy project developer FEN SOL to acquire a 303-megawatt solar park project, Energypress reported.
The photovoltaic (PV) complex will consist of two independent power plants located in the city of Florina in the northern Macedonia region of Greece. The program is currently undergoing environmental permitting.
According to the report, ELPE is developing an additional PV project of around 20 MW in the adjacent area, which will be added to the larger project at a later date. It is speculated that the Greek company will take several months to complete the environmental protection process and apply for an interconnection agreement with the transmission system operator IPTO.
What's more, ELPE recently completed the construction of a 204-megawatt solar power plant in Kozani, in western Macedonia, which is expected to come online by the end of March. In the past few months, the company has acquired a 16 MW solar park in Viotia and a 37.2 MW wind farm in Evia from Trina solar.
In the construction process of solar power plant, in addition to photovoltaic panel components, how to choose the appropriate pv1-f or h1z2z2-k is also very important. Spend 5 minutes to help buyers figure out a few key questions about the purchase of pv1f or h1z2z2-k.
What are the commonly used sizes?
In general, the pv cable 4mm2, pv wire 10 awg, 6mm pv cable belong to the most common used pv1-f or h1z2z2-k cable.
What are the parts of the pv1-f or h1z2z2-k cable?
pv1-f and h1z2z2-k cable both consist of tinned copper and xlpe insulation and sheath. Compared to pvc material, the xlpe material requires higher quality control.
What are the difference between pv1-f and h1z2z2-k?
Actually, they are just different names and both point to the solar cable. It's just that in some countries one of both is more popular. Generally in Europe, people prefer to call the solar cable as h1z2z2-k.
What are the standards for manufacturing pv1-f and h1z2z2-k?
There are 2 standards for manufacturing pv1-f and h1z2z2-k. EN50618 is the standard for Europe. If a electrical cable manufacturer wants to sell the pv1-f or h1z2z2-k to Europe, they must follow this standard strictly. Another is the IEC 62930, which stands for the international standard.
What are the colors for pv1-f and h1z2z2-k?
For the common sizes, such as the pv cable 4mm2, pv wire 10 awg, 6mm pv cable, the white color insulation is more popular. On the other hand, there are 2 the sheath colors, red or black both available in many electrical wire and cable manufacturer, such as the pv cable 4mm2 produced by JZD.
