N-YJV Fire Resistant Cable
Rated for 0.6/1kV, this cable is engineered to maintain circuit integrity and continue operating for a specified period under direct flame exposure, as per standards like IEC 60331. Its construction features three 25mm² phase conductors and two 16mm² neutral/earth conductors made of high-conductivity copper. The key to its fire performance is a mica glass tape barrier applied over the conductors beneath the XLPE insulation. This layer forms a stable insulating crust at extreme temperatures (up to 750-1000°C), preventing short circuits. Combined with flame-retardant PVC sheathing, it ensures power supply to essential life safety systems during a fire emergency.
