THHN Cable for Data Centers
JZD Cable’s THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated) wire is a premium-grade building wire designed for superior performance in demanding electrical installations. This single-conductor cable features a bare copper conductor, insulated with heat and moisture-resistant PVC, and protected by a tough, abrasion-resistant nylon jacket. It is rated for 90°C in dry locations and 75°C in wet locations, making it an exceptionally versatile and durable choice.
Our THHN wire is manufactured to meet and exceed industry standards, including UL 83, and is suitable for use in conduit, raceways, and other recognized wiring methods. Unless the equipment is marked for use at higher temperatures the conductor shall be limited to the following per NEC 110.14(C):
- 60°C – When terminated to equipment for circuits rated 100 amperes or less or marked for 14 – 1 AWG conductors
- 75°C – When terminated to equipment for circuits rated over 100 amperes or marked for conductors larger than 1 AWG
- 90°C – THHN dry locations and THWN-2 wet or dry locations for ampacity adjustment purposes using NEC section 310.15
