What Is UL 758?

📌 Critical distinction:​ UL 758 AWM is a component-level​ standard. An AWM wire is “UL Recognized” as a component to be used inside a listed product — it is not​ a stand-alone building wire for NEC installations . (For building wiring, you’d specify THHN, XHHW-2, NM-B, etc.)
